Our FAQ on GDPR
On this page, you can get answers to the questions that our customers often ask about personal data regulation. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our support.
A: We have published our data processor agreement on our website, a copy of which you can download right here.
A: No. But Wedoio does not store data, other than transaction records and their logging.
A: Yes, we have developers in several different countries.
A: No, our developers outside the EU do not have direct access to your personal data.
However, there will be situations where they have to solve support cases, and here it requires that they have access to your database in order to solve the problem.
When you send a screenshot to the support team, our Malaysian developers need to solve the challenge, so we are technically sending personal data outside the EU. That is why we have a separate data processor agreement with our development partner so that we live up to our obligations as a data processor and can still provide the best service to our customers.
A: The data controller is the one who collects data, ie. you. The responsible person chosen is the liaison between Wedoio Integrations and you as a customer regarding everything related to data protection and the EU Personal Data Regulation (GDPR).
The responsible contact person will also be the one who receives news about initiatives and changes in connection with data protection, eg when replacing sub-data processors.
We are the data processor and our role is to handle data on your behalf.
A: We only sign a data processor agreement with the main contractor. This means that it is the main contractor's responsibility to manage your internal handling of what data you process via Wedoio's services because you are the data controller.
A: At Wedoio, only the data controller can request insight into data in Wedoio's systems and services. The insight may, for example, relate to deletion of data, import, export and scripting of data.
If an employee other than the data controller asks you for insight, we will first inform the data controller and ask for his or her consent.
As a data controller, you must always contact us via our email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can expect up to four weeks for the issue to be solved.
